Museum

Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen

Four museum venues on Toulonplatz, covering archaeology, world cultures, city history and major special exhibitions from mummies to Romanticism.

The Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen form the largest museum ensemble in Mannheim. Four buildings on Toulonplatz and in the Quadrate squares C4, C5 and D5 present collections on archaeology, world and city cultures, photography and theater history. Internationally noted special exhibitions on mummies, the Mannheim court chapels and the Wittelsbach dynasty have established the museum complex as a cultural heavyweight in the region.
