Located directly south of the city center on the Rhine, it is characterized by Gründerzeit villas, mature residential streets and the Lindenhofplatz square. The Meerfeldstrasse and Lindenhofstrasse form a local shopping spine, complemented by the Stephanienufer with its views across to Ludwigshafen and the Rheinpark riverside green.
