District
Kaefertal
A large district in the north-east with its own village core, the Kaefertal forest, the Vogelstang lake and a blend of residential areas and light industry.
With more than 23,000 residents, Kaefertal is one of Mannheim's largest districts. An independent village core around Bensheimer Strasse, the Kaefertal forest as a local recreation area, the Vogelstang lake and established residential quarters define the area. A mix of long-time locals, young families and a notable international community gives the district its character.
